did-you-kno: Source People keep repeating this as fact, but 1.) There’s a number of deaths/close calls that don’t have oranges nearby. 2.) Dean Tavoularis - the production designer of the film says that he threw oranges in there to add some color to a very dark and muddy film. It’s all a big coincidence.
